Not Just an Urban Problem
A 2023 census found Carson City has the second-highest number of homeless individuals among Nevada’s rural counties, with 62 in shelters and 68 unsheltered. Many cited barriers like inability to pay rent, lack of funds for deposits, and bad credit, while some also faced challenges with substance misuse.*
At Spirit of Hope, we are dedicated to helping individuals overcome these obstacles and secure stable housing. Your gifts—whether financial, household items, or even a home—allow us to provide safe, sober, affordable housing where more men and women can thrive. Together, we can light the path to hope and a fresh start for those in need.
